It runs from 10:00 till about 18:00 and will be at Surrey Parks in Guildford. (It’s a bit of a trek from the train station to the venue, so drivers are welcome!)
This is a London-wide pre-season indoor tournament for non-NL teams.
There will be two concurrent tournaments running – one for teams in LRL (i.e. Highbury 1), and one for teams in LKA2 or LKA3 (i.e. Highbury 2 and 3). The shot clock is likely to be used and there will also be opportunities for referees to be practically assessed.
Anyone that wants some indoor practice before the season starts should definitely sign up for this one! This would also be a great chance for beginners who have not yet played an indoor match to get a practice before the season starts. We will sort teams by ability for this tournament.
The tournament is hosted by Kent Uni at Joss Bay, Broadstairs, starting at 10:30.
This is a really fun and unique tournament. In Beach Korfball you only have one division (ie. 2 boys and 2 girls) per team. It is open to ALL standards (complete beginners up to those who think they’re awesome).
The venue is close to some surfing spots so there is the option of going down the day before to catch some surf.
There will also be a social event held in Canterbury the night before and after the tournament and teams are welcome to stay and party on the beach too!
As there are fewer people per team places tend to fill up fast. I will enter teams as enough people sign up. Priority for places will be given to those who sign up first.
